Lotus is one of Du Verre's first hardware introductions. It is designed by the incredible innovator and designer William Harvey. Elegant and organic, the soft rounded shapes are lovely to touch as well as to look at.

Du Verre die-cast aluminum hardware is elegant, cost effective and perfectly engineered to allow for easy installation and pre-drilling. Shifting their manufacturing to the technologically advanced die cast method has provided numerous advantages for their clients and the environment.

This new hardware is precision crafted from post-consumer recycled aluminum, a methodology which causes less impact on the environment. Using post consumer recycled aluminum reduces the generation of air and water pollution by 95%, requires only 5% of the energy and greenhouse gasses used in production of new metals, and helps prevent clear-cutting of tropical rainforests. Du Verre Hardware requires a minimum of care. To clean, simply dust or polish with a soft dry cloth. We recommend avoiding the use of harsh cleaners, abrasives and chemicals as these can break down the lacquer finish. Die cast aluminum pieces are durable enough for outdoor use.

This collection was designed by William Harvey. William Harvey lives and works in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Trained as a sculptor, Harvey has exhibited his fine art works in Washington, D.C. and New York. He has designed collections of home accessories since 1991. His work includes window hardware collections, furniture and tabletop items.
